Description: Quercetin is classified in a subclass of flavonoids: flavonols. It is a water soluble citrus bioflavonoid found in blue-green algae, buckwheat, citrus fruits and in many other plants. Bromelain enhances absorption of quercetin.

Cautions & Side Effects

Do not use quercetin if you are pregnant. Nursing women may take it with caution. Use it with caution with other blood thinning supplements or drugs. Side effects are rare, but can cause headache, mild tingling of the extremities and gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea.
