Description: GLA is most important active ingredient of black currant seed oil, borage oil and evening primrose oil.
Black currant is a small shrub native to northern and central Europe and northern Asia. It is from grossulariaceae family. Black currant seed oil is extracted from black currant plant seeds. It contains 15% of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid - omega 6).
Borage is a large annual plant native to north Africa, Asia and Europe. It is from boraginaceae family. Borage oil is extracted from borage seeds. It contains 24% of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid - omega 6).
Evening primrose is a biennial plant native to North and South America. It is from onagraceae family. Evening primrose oil is extracted from evening primrose plant seeds. It contains 10% of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid - omega 6).
