Description: Citrulline is a non-essential alpha amino acid. In the body, citrulline is produced from glutamine and ornithine, and in kidneys it produces arginine. Citrulline is found in watermelon, helps eliminate ammonia from the body and used mainly as a sports nutrition supplement.
