For oral use there is no known safety problems if used at suggested dosage, but it is better to use this product under the control of an experienced practitioner. Oral overdoses may produce nausea and vomiting. Topical bloodroot can cause burns. Do not use bloodroot for long period of times for both oral and topical use. Do not use it with children and for pregnant or nursing women. Safety is unknown for people with kidney and liver disease.
