Description: Betaine hydrochloride provides hydrochloric acid to stomach and increases stomach acidity. Hydrochloric acid is a substance found in stomach that helps digestion of proteins and helps absorption of nutrients in intestines. Betaine (trimethylglycine - TMG) is a different remedy with different properties.
