Cautions & Side Effects

There is no known safety problems if used at suggested dosage. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, use beta-carotene under the control of an experienced practitioner. Do not use synthetic beta-carotene if you are a smoker; it can increase the risk of some type of cancers. If you have liver problems use high doses of beta carotene with caution.
