Description: Bearberry is a small woody evergreen shrub growing in cold climates. It is from ericaceae family. Its leaves are used medicinally.

Cautions & Side Effects

Do not use it more than 2 weeks. Do not use if you are pregnant or nursing, in children or if you have hypertension, anxiety, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, liver or kidney conditions. Do not use vitamin C, cranberry or other acidic foods or supplements when using bearberry; they mat reduce its activity.
Overdoses may cause arrhythmia and insomnia.
Side effects: Rarely nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
