Recommended DosageTake dried alder buckthorn bark daily, containing 15-30 mg of anthraquinone glycosides, before bedtime, for a maximum of 10 days and drink 1-2 l of water during the day. Cautions & Side EffectsThere is no known safety problems if used at suggested dosage. Do not use it with children, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding or if you have Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, appendicitis and abdominal pain. Do not use it more than 10 days. Dark urine colour when using alder buckthorn is harmless. Alder buckthorn may interact with some drugs action and their metabolism.
