Black cohosh is an estrogenic; improves hormonal balance; reduces vaginal thinning and dryness. Take 80-120 mg of standardized black cohosh extract daily, containing 2.5% of triterpene glycosides, in divided doses, for many months.
- GLA

GLA improves hormonal balance; reduces vaginal thinning and dryness. Take 300-600 mg of GLA daily, in divided doses, with meals, for many months. If you take 2-4 g of black currant seed oil, containing 15% of GLA or 1.25-2.50 g of borage oil, containing 24% of GLA or 3-6 g of evening primrose oil, containing 10% of GLA you receive 300-600 mg of GLA.
- Wild yam
Wild yam is a progesteronic; it has progesterone like activity; improves hormonal balance; alleviates menopausal vaginal dryness and other symptoms. Take 3 g of dried wild yam root daily, in divided doses, for many months.
