- Arginine

Arginine alleviates toothache after dental surgery. Take 2-6 g of arginine daily, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- White willow bark

White willow bark is an analgesic; alleviates toothache. Take white willow bark extract daily, containing 120-240 mg of salicin, in divided doses, for many months.
- Wintergreen leaf

Wintergreen leaf is an analgesic and an anti-inflammatory; contains aspirin like methyl salicylate; reduces inflammation and alleviates toothache. Take wintergreen leaf, in tea form, in divided doses, for many weeks, as suggested on the label.
- Yarrow
Yarrow is an analgesic; alleviates toothache. Take 2-4 g of dried yarrow daily, in divided doses, in tea or capsule form, for many weeks.
- Zinc
Zinc is an anti-inflammatory and a nutritional support; reduces inflammation and alleviates toothache. Take 25-50 mg of zinc daily, in divided doses, for many months. Better if used with copper.
