Proteolytic enzymes are anti-inflammatory; they reduce inflammation and swellings; reduce duration and severity; alleviate pain; accelerate healing. Take proteolytic enzymes daily, in divided doses, between meals, for many weeks, as suggested on the label.
- Boswellia

Boswellia is an anti-inflammatory; reduces swellings; alleviates pain and other symptoms. Take standardized boswellia extract daily, containing 0.5-1.5 g of boswellic acids, in divided doses, for many months.
- Chondroitin sulfate

Chondroitin sulfate promotes cartilage regeneration; helps to produce collagen; protects collagen; alleviates pain; accelerates tissue repair. Take 1.0-1.5 g of chondroitin sulfate daily, in divided doses, for many months. Better if used with glucosamine.
- Citrus bioflavonoids

Citrus bioflavonoids reduce inflammation and swellings; protect collagen; accelerate tissue repair; alleviate pain. Take 2-3 g of citrus bioflavonoids daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Creatine

Creatine helps to maintain muscle mass; increases muscle strength and endurance; alleviates symptoms. Take 2-6 g of creatine daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Devil's claw
