Supplements for Oral Use
- Beta-carotene
  
Beta-carotene is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; alleviates symptoms. Take 60,000-120,000 IU of beta-carotene daily, in divided doses, for many months. Do not use synthetic beta-carotene if you are a smoker. It may increase the risk of some type of cancers.
- Vitamin B3 - Niacinamide
  
Vitamin B3 - Niacinamide alleviates symptoms. Take 2-3 g of niacinamide daily, in divided doses, for many months. Use this dosage under the control of an experienced practitioner.
- Adenosine monophospate
 
Adenosine monophospate alleviates symptoms. Take 150-200 mg of adenosine monophosphate daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Green tea
 
Green tea is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; alleviates symptoms. Take green tea extract daily, containing 0.5-1.5 g of catechins, in divided doses, for many months.
- Fish oil

Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; alleviates photosensitivity and other symptoms. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months.
- N-Acetylcysteine

N-Acetylcysteine reduces photosensitivity and alleviates symptoms. Take 0.5-1.5 g of N-acetylcysteine daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Vitamin B6 - Pyridoxine

Vitamin B6 - Pyridoxine alleviates symptoms. Take 100-200 mg of pyridoxine daily, in divided doses, for many months.
