- Bromelain
  
Bromelain is an anti-inflammatory; reduces platelet aggregation; used for treatment. Take 1-4 g (2,000-8,000 MCU) of bromelain daily, between meals, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Sweet clover
 
Sweet clover is an anti-inflammatory and an antithrombotic; it is a blood thinner; reduces blood clot formation. Take sweet clover daily, containing 2.5-25.0 mg of coumarin, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Bilberry

Bilberry strengthens capillary walls and blood vessel walls. Take standardized bilberry extract daily, containing 60-90 mg of anthocyanosides, in divided doses, for many months.
- Butcher's broom

Butcher's broom is an antithrombotic; reduces blood clot formation. Take standardized butcher's broom daily, containing 10-40 mg of ruscogenine, in divided doses, for many months.
- Citrus bioflavonoids

Citrus bioflavonoids are antithrombotic; they reduce blood clot formation and strengthen capillary walls and blood vessel walls. Take 2-3 g of citrus bioflavonoids daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Horse chestnut

Horse chestnut is an anti-inflammatory; protects blood vessels; used for treatment. Take esculin free horse chestnut extract daily, containing 100-150 mg of aescin, in divided doses, for many months.
- Mesoglycan

Mesoglycan is a blood thinner; strengthens blood vessel walls; used for treatment. Take 100-300 mg of mesoglycan daily, in divided doses, for many months.
