Supplements for Oral Use
- Coenzyme Q10
 
Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; enhances immune system; used for prevention and treatment. Take 120-240 mg of coenzyme Q10 daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Folic acid
 
Folic acid is used for prevention and treatment. Take 0.6-1.2 mg of folic acid daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Green tea
 
Green tea is an antioxidant and an antibacterial; inhibits bacteria growth. Take green tea extract daily, containing 0.5-1.5 g of catechins, in divided doses, for many months. Gargle your mouth many times daily with green tea.
- Fish oil

Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; it is an anti-inflammatory; reduces gum inflammation; enhances immune system; used for prevention and treatment. Take 3-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months.
- GLA

GLA is an anti-inflammatory; reduces inflammation; enhances immune system; alleviates symptoms. Take 300-600 mg of GLA daily, in divided doses, with meals, for many months. If you take 2-4 g of black currant seed oil, containing 15% of GLA or 1.25-2.50 g of borage oil, containing 24% of GLA or 3-6 g of evening primrose oil, containing 10% of GLA you receive 300-600 mg of GLA. Works better with fish oil.
- Selenium

Selenium is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; enhances immune system; used for prevention and treatment. Take 100-200 mcg of selenium daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a nutritional support; it helps to overcome vitamin C deficiency; it is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; it is an antibacterial; enhances immune system; used for prevention and treatment. Take 0.5-4.0 g of vitamin C daily, in divided doses, for many months.
