Ipriflavone helps to protect bone integrity; prevents bone loss; increases bone density; it is used for prevention and treatment. Take 400-600 mg of ipriflavone daily, in divided doses, for many months. Take a calcium supplement same time.
- Isoflavones
  
Isoflavones are estrogenic; they help to protect bone integrity; prevent bone loss; increase bone density; they are used for prevention and treatment. Take 80-120 mg of isoflavones daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Cod liver oil or Halibut liver oil

Cod liver oil or Halibut liver oil contains vitamin D; helps to protect bone integrity; prevents bone loss; used for prevention and treatment. Take cod liver oil or halibut liver oil daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label. Works better with calcium.
- Flax seed oil

Flax seed oil reduces osteoporosis risk after menopause. Take 10-20 g of flax seed oil daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Green tea

Green tea helps to protect bone integrity; prevents bone loss. Take green tea extract daily, containing 0.5-1.5 g of catechins, in divided doses, for many months.
- Lysine

Lysine increases calcium absorption and reduces calcium excretion; used for prevention and treatment. Take 1.0-1.5 g of lysine daily, in divided doses, for many months. Better if used with calcium.
