- Gotu kola
 
Gotu kola accelerates tissue healing and repair; strengthens the skin; alleviates symptoms. Take 15-30 g of dried gotu kola leaf in tea form or 60-180 mg of standardized gotu kola saponins daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- PABA
 
PABA slows down the progression; alleviates skin lesions; alleviates symptoms. Take 8-12 g of PABA daily, in divided doses, for many months. Use this dosage under the control of an experienced practitioner.
- Antioxidants

Antioxidants neutralize free radicals; they slow down the progression; alleviate symptoms. Take antioxidants daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Beta-carotene

Beta-carotene is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; alleviates symptoms. Take 25,000-50,000 IU of beta-carotene daily, in divided doses, for many months. Do not use synthetic beta-carotene if you are a smoker. It may increase the risk of some type of cancers.
- Boswellia

- DHA

DHA is an omega 3 fatty acid; it is a blood thinner; improves blood circulation; slows down the progression; alleviate symptoms. Take 1-2 g of DHA daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- EPA

EPA is an omega 3 fatty acid; it is a blood thinner; improves blood circulation; slows down the progression; alleviate symptoms. Take 2-4 g of EPA daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Fish oil

Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; it is a blood thinner; improves blood circulation; slows down the progression; alleviate symptoms. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months.
- GLA

GLA stimulates blood circulation and tissue healing; alleviates symptoms. Take 300-600 mg of GLA daily, in divided doses, with meals, for many months. If you take 2-4 g of black currant seed oil, containing 15% of GLA or 1.25-2.50 g of borage oil, containing 24% of GLA or 3-6 g of evening primrose oil, containing 10% of GLA you receive 300-600 mg of GLA.
