- Bugleweed
   
Bugleweed reduces TSH level; decreases thyroid hormone synthesis. Take 1-2 g of bugleweed daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Carnitine
  
Carnitine reduces thyroid hormone activity; protects bones; normalizes body temperature; prevents and reduces symptoms. Take 2-4 g of carnitine daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Motherwort
  
Motherwort has a calming and relaxing effect; protects heart; reduces heart rate; alleviates arrhythmia. Take 6-12 g of dried motherwort daily, in tea or capsule form, in divided doses, for many months.
- Lemon balm

Lemon balm has a calming and relaxing effect; alleviates symptoms. Take 2-4 g of lemon balm in tea or capsule form or standardized lemon balm containing 1 mg of citral daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Astragalus
Astragalus is an adaptogen; alleviates symptoms. Take 10-30 g of dried astragalus root daily, in tea form, in divided doses, for many months.
- Fish oil
Fish oil oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; alleviates symptoms. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months.
- Flax seed
Flax seed alleviates symptoms. Take 25-50 g of crushed flax seed daily, in divided doses, with a glass of water, for many months.
- Flax seed oil
Flax seed oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; alleviates symptoms. Take 10-20 g of flax seed oil daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- GABA

- GLA
GLA enhances immune system; alleviates symptoms. Take 300-600 mg of GLA daily, in divided doses, with meals, for many months. If you take 2-4 g of black currant seed oil, containing 15% of GLA or 1.25-2.50 g of borage oil, containing 24% of GLA or 3-6 g of evening primrose oil, containing 10% of GLA you receive 300-600 mg of GLA.
