- Alpha lipoic acid
   
Alpha lipoic acid is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; increases insulin sensitivity; prevents diabetes complications. Take 0.7-1.4 g of alpha lipoic acid daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Chromium
   
Chromium balances blood sugar; improves glucose tolerance; increases insulin sensitivity; increases insulin effectiveness. Take 200-400 mcg of chromium daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Fiber
   
Fiber balances blood sugar. Take fiber daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Glucomannan
