- Fish oil
   
Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; it is an anti-inflammatory; prevents flare-ups; reduces intestinal inflammation, pain and other symptoms. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months. Enteric coated free fatty acid form works better.

Multivitamin & minerals are a nutritional support; they provide a multitude of vitamins and minerals; enhance immune system. Take multivitamin & minerals daily lifelong, in divided doses, as suggested on the label.
- DHA
  
DHA is an omega 3 fatty acid; it is an anti-inflammatory; reduces intestinal inflammation; alleviates pain and other symptoms. Take 0.5-1.5 g of DHA daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- EPA
  
EPA is an omega 3 fatty acid; it is an anti-inflammatory; reduces intestinal inflammation; alleviates pain and other symptoms. Take 1.5-3.0 g of EPA daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Vitamin D
  
Vitamin D helps to overcome vitamin D deficiency; reduces bone loss. Take 400-1,000 IU of vitamin D daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Boswellia
 
Boswellia is an anti-inflammatory; reduces duration and severity; alleviates pain and other symptoms. Take standardized boswellia extract daily, containing 0.5-1.5 g of boswellic acids, in divided doses, for many months.
- DHEA
