- Inositol
  
Inositol improves serotonin sensitivity of body; alleviates depression; it has a calming and relaxing effect. Take 6-18 g of inositol daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- 5-HTP

5-HTP promotes serotonin production; alleviates depression and other sympoms; reduces anxiety. Take 100-300 mg of 5-HTP daily, in divided doses before meals, for many months.
- Fish oil

Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; nourishes nerves; it is a brain tonic; reduces anxiety; alleviates depression and other sympoms. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months.
- St. John's wort

St. John's wort alleviates depression; promotes serotonin production; it has a calming and relaxing effect; alleviates symptoms. Take 0.9 g of standardized St. John's wort extract daily, containing 0.3% of hypericin, in divided doses, for many months.
