Supplements for Oral Use
- Bilberry
  
Bilberry improves night vision. Take standardized bilberry extract daily, containing 60-120 mg of anthocyanosides, in divided doses, for many months.
- Vitamin A
  
Vitamin A helps to overcome vitamin A deficiency; improves night vision. Take 10,000-20,000 IU of vitamin A daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Zinc
  
Zinc is a nutritional support; it helps to overcome zinc deficiency and improves night vision. Take 25-50 mg of zinc daily, in divided doses, for many months. Better if used with copper.
- Beta-carotene
 
Beta-carotene improves night vision. Take 25,000-50,000 IU of beta-carotene daily, in divided doses, for many months. Do not use synthetic beta-carotene if you are a smoker. It may increase the risk of some type of cancers.
- Black currant
 
Black currant improves night vision. Take black currant leaves daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Lutein
 
Lutein improves night vision. Take 10-30 mg of lutein daily, in divided doses, for many months. Use it with fat or oil containing food. Works better with zeaxanthin.
- Zeaxanthin
 
Zeaxanthin improves night vision. Take 2-4 mg of zeaxanthin daily, in divided doses, for many months. Use it with fat or oil containing food. Works better with lutein.
