Supplements for Oral Use

  • Blue flag RatingRating

    Blue flag alleviates symptoms. Take blue flag daily, in divided doses, for many days, as suggested on the label. Blue flag in tea form is not effective. Use this product under the control of an experienced practitioner.

  • Lignan RatingRating

    Lignan is an estrogenic; has estrogen like activity; regulates menstrual cycle. Take 30-120 mg of lignan (= to 10-40 g of crushed flax seed) daily, in divided doses, for many months.

  • EPA Rating

    EPA is an omega 3 fatty acid; alleviates menstrual symptoms. Take 1.5-3.0 g of EPA daily, in divided doses, for many months.

  • Fish oil Rating

    Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; alleviates menstrual symptoms. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months.

  • Flax seed Rating

    Flax seed is an estrogenic; has estrogen like activity; improves hormonal balance; alleviates symptoms. Take 25-50 g of crushed flax seed daily, in divided doses, with a glass of water, for many months.

  • Flax seed oil Rating

    Flax seed oil alleviates symptoms. Take 10-30 g of flax seed oil daily, in divided doses, for many months.

  • GLA Rating

    GLA improves hormonal balance; alleviates symptoms. Take 300-600 mg of GLA daily, in divided doses, with meals, for many months. If you take 2-4 g of black currant seed oil, containing 15% of GLA or 1.25-2.50 g of borage oil, containing 24% of GLA or 3-6 g of evening primrose oil, containing 10% of GLA you receive 300-600 mg of GLA.
