Supplements for Oral Use
- Vitamin A
   
Vitamin A helps to overcome vitamin A deficiency; enhances immune system; fights infection; reduces the risk of complications; accelerates recovery; used for prevention and treatment. For treatment use 100,000 IU of vitamin A for children younger than 1 year old, 200,000 IU of vitamin A for children older than 1 year 3 times (second 1 day later than first one and third 3 weeks later). Use this dosage under the control of an experienced practitioner. For prevention 10,000 IU of vitamin A daily, for many months, may be helpful.
- Citrus bioflavonoids

Citrus bioflavonoids accelerate healing; reduce itching; alleviate symptoms. Take 2-3 g of citrus bioflavonoids daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Cod liver oil or Halibut liver oil

Cod liver oil or Halibut liver oil contains vitamin A; it is an anti-inflammatory; enhances immune system; reduces inflammation and alleviates symptoms. Take cod liver oil or halibut liver oil daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Quercetin

Quercetin is an antiviral; fights virus; accelerates healing. Take 0.5-1.5 g of quercetin daily, in divided doses, between meals, for many months.
- Selenium

Selenium is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; enhances immune system; used for prevention and treatment. Take 100-200 mcg of selenium daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Vitamin C

Vitamin C is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; it is an antibacterial; it is an antiviral; fights infection; enhances immune system. Take 0.5-3.0 g of vitamin C daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; used for prevention and treatment. Take 400-800 IU of vitamin E daily, in divided doses, for many months.
