    Citric acid and citrates reduce acidity of urine; they are antilithic for kidney stones; prevent kidney stone formation. Take citric acid and/or citrates daily, in divided doses, for many months. Take 120-160 ml of pure lemon juice daily, first thing morning, for many months. It is an excellent source of citric acid.

    Magnesium is an antilithic for kidney stones; prevents kidney stone formation; alleviates spasms. Take 400-600 mg of magnesium (in citrate form) daily, in divided doses, for many months.

    Potassium is an antilithic for kidney stones; prevents kidney stone formation. Take 0.5-1.0 g of potassium daily, in divided doses, for many months. Use the citrate form.

    Alanine prevents kidney stone formation. Take 1-3 g of alanine daily, in divided doses, for many months.
