Supplements for Oral Use
- Caraway oil
  
Caraway oil is a carminative; helps eliminate gas; alleviates intestinal spasms; soothes digestive system; improves digestion; alleviates symptoms. Take 5-10 drops of caraway oil daily, in a juice, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Flax seed
  
Flax seed is a bulk-forming laxative; stimulates bowel movement; alleviates constipation and abdominal pain; helps eliminate gas. Take 25-50 g of crushed flax seed daily, in divided doses, with a glass of water, for many months.
- Lactase
  
Lactase alleviates lactose intolerance related indigestion and diarrhea; used for treatment of lactose intolerance related irritable bowel syndrome. Take lactase daily with any dairy product, just before meal, as suggested on the label.
- Peppermint oil
  
Peppermint oil is a carminative; helps eliminate gas; alleviates intestinal spasms; soothes digestive system; alleviates symptoms. Take 0.5-1.0 ml of enteric coated peppermint oil daily, in divided doses, 30 minutes before meals, for many weeks.
- Probiotics
  
Probiotics alleviate diarrhea; help eliminate gas. Take probiotics daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Psyllium
  
Psyllium alleviates diarrhea; regulates bowel movement; alleviates symptoms. Take 5-10 g of psyllium seeds daily, in divided doses, with 2 glass of water, for many months.
- Bromelain
 
Bromelain improves digestion; alleviates symptoms; used for treatment. Take 1-4 g (2,000-8,000 MCU) of bromelain daily, with meals, in divided doses, for many weeks.
