N-Acetylcysteine improves health and function of kidneys and protects them. Take 0.5-1.0 g of N-acetylcysteine daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Abuta

Abuta is a diuretic; improves kidney function. Take abuta daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Arginine

Arginine improves kidney function; protects kidneys. Take 2-6 g of arginine daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Cordyceps

Cordyceps improves kidney function; protects kidneys. Take 2-6 g of cordyceps daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Glycine

Glycine protects kidneys; improves their health and function. Take 1-3 g of glycine daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Hesperidin

Hesperidin protects kidneys. Take 1-3 g of hesperidin daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Lignan

Lignan improves kidney function. Take 30-120 mg of lignan (= to 10-40 g of crushed flax seed) daily, in divided doses, for many months.
