Supplements for Oral Use
- Betaine hydrochloride
   
Betaine hydrochloride increases stomach acidity. Take 0.5-2.0 g of betaine hydrochloride per meal, for many months. Use only if you have low stomach acid.
- Wormwood
 
Wormwood increases stomach acidity and stimulates stomach acid production. Take 6-12 g of dried wormwood daily, in tea form, in divided doses, for maximum of 4 weeks.
- Agrimony

Agrimony increases stomach acidity; stimulates stomach acid production. Take 3 g of dried agrimony daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Centaury

Centaury increases stomach acidity; stimulates stomach acid production. Take 3-6 g or 3-6 teaspoon of centaury daily, in tea form, before meals, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Histidine

Histidine stimulates stomach acid production and digestion. Take 3-6 g of histidine daily, in divided doses, between meals, for many months.
