Supplements for Oral Use

  • Fish oil RatingRatingRating

    Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; nourishes nerves; alleviates symptoms. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months. Better if used with GLA.

  • Alpha lipoic acid RatingRating

    Alpha lipoic acid alleviates symptoms; protects brain and nerve tissue; slows down the progression. Take 400-600 mg of alpha lipoic acid daily, in divided doses, for many months.

  • Creatine RatingRating

    Creatine helps to maintain muscle mass; increases muscle strength and endurance; reduces muscle weakness and fatigue. Take 2-6 g of creatine daily, in divided doses, for many months.

  • DMAE RatingRating

If you take 2-4 g of black currant seed oil, containing 15% of GLA or 1.25-2.50 g of borage oil, containing 24% of GLA or 3-6 g of evening primrose oil, containing 10% of GLA you receive 300-600 mg of GLA. Works better with fish oil.
