Supplements for Oral Use
- Bilberry

Bilberry is an anti-inflammatory and an antibacterial; reduces inflammation; inhibits bacteria growth. Take standardized bilberry extract daily, containing 60-120 mg of anthocyanosides, in divided doses, for many months.
- Bromelain

Bromelain is an anti-inflammatory; reduces swellings; alleviates pain and other symptoms. Take 1-4 g (2,000-8,000 MCU) of bromelain daily, between meals, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Buchu

Buchu is a diuretic; alleviates symptoms. Take 3-6 g of buchu leaves daily, in capsule or tea form, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Couch grass

Couch grass is a diuretic; alleviates symptoms. Take couch grass daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Cranberry

Cranberry alleviates symptoms. Take concentrated cranberry extract or 250-500 ml of pure cranberry juice daily, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Echinacea

Echinacea is an antibacterial; alleviates symptoms. Take echinacea daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Eleuthero root

Eleuthero root alleviates symptoms. Take 1.5-3.0 g of eleuthero root daily, in tea or capsule form, in divided doses, for many months.
