White willow bark is an analgesic; alleviates headache. Take white willow bark extract daily, containing 120-240 mg of salicin, in divided doses, for many months.
- Black cohosh

Black cofosh is an antispasmodic; reduces nerve pain. Take 80-120 mg of standardized black cohosh extract daily, containing 2.5% of triterpene glycosides, in divided doses, for many months.
- Blessed thistle

Blessed thistle alleviates headache. Take 3-6 g of blessed thistle daily, in tea form, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Blue violet leaf

Blue violet leaf has a calming and relaxing effect; alleviates headache. Take blue violet leaf daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Boneset

Boneset alleviates headache. Take 3-6 g of boneset daily, in tea form, in divided doses, for many weeks.
