Supplements for Oral Use
- Garlic
 
Garlic enhances immune system; reduces esophagus cancer risk. Take garlic, containing 5-15 mg of alliin or 2.5-5.0 mg of allicin potential or 2-6 g of aged garlic daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Green tea
 
Green tea is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; enhances immune system; reduces esophagus cancer risk. Take green tea extract daily, containing 0.5-1.5 g of catechins, in divided doses, for many months.
- Lycopene
 
Lycopene is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; enhances immune system; reduces esophagus cancer risk. Take 15-25 mg of lycopene daily, in divided doses, for many months. Use it with fat or oil containing food.
- Vitamin C
 
Vitamin C is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; reduces esophagus cancer risk. Take 0.5-6.0 g of vitamin C daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Beta-carotene

Beta-carotene is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; reduces esophagus cancer risk. Take 25,000-50,000 IU of beta-carotene daily, in divided doses, for many months. Do not use synthetic beta-carotene if you are a smoker. It may increase the risk of some type of cancers.
