Supplements for Oral Use
- Fish oil
   
Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; improves heart function; increases HDL (good) cholesterol; reduces triglycerides, homocysteine, and blood pressure; reduces plaque formation in blood vessels and the plaque size; used for prevention and treatment. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months.
- Arjuna bark
  
Arjuna bark improves heart function and heart's pumping capacity; prevents heart failure. Take 0.3-1.5 g of arjuna bark daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Coenzyme Q10
  
Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; improves physical activity capacity; improves physical activity tolerance; improves heart function; improves energy production; alleviates symptoms. Take 120-240 mg of coenzyme Q10 daily, in divided doses, for many months.
