Supplements for Oral Use

  • Fish oil Rating

    Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; reduces calluses and corns. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months.

  • Flax seed Rating

    Flax seed reduces calluses and cornes. Take 25-50 g of crushed flax seed daily, in divided doses, with a glass of water, for many months.

  • GLA Rating

    GLA reduces calluses and cornes. Take 300-600 mg of GLA daily, in divided doses, with meals, for many months. If you take 2-4 g of black currant seed oil, containing 15% of GLA or 1.25-2.50 g of borage oil, containing 24% of GLA or 3-6 g of evening primrose oil, containing 10% of GLA you receive 300-600 mg of GLA.

Supplements for Topical Use

  • Calendula RatingRating

    Calendula is a demulcent; softens and soothes the skin. Apply a cream containing calendula 2-4 times daily, for many months, as suggested on the label.

  • GLA Rating

    GLA softens, soothes and regenerates the skin; reduces calluses and cornes. Apply undiluted black currant seed oil or borage oil or evening primrose oil directly on the calluses and corns, 2 times daily, for many months.

  • White willow bark Rating

    White willow bark reduces calluses and cornes. Apply white willow bark containing topical preparation 2-4 times daily, for many weeks, as suggested on the label.

  • Wintergreen essential oil Rating

    Wintergreen essential oil reduces calluses and cornes. Apply wintergreen essential oil containing topical preparation 1-2 times daily, for a limited time, as suggested on the label.
