Supplements for Oral Use
- Acetyl carnitine
 
Acetyl carnitine improves nervous and mitochondrial function; alleviates symptoms. Take 2-3 g of acetyl carnitine daily, in divided doses, for many months. Works better with alpha lipoic acid.
- BCAA's
 
BCAA's maintain muscle strength; improve nerve function; slow down the progression. Take 2.5-5.0 g of BCAA's daily, in divided doses, for many months. Use this product under the control of an experienced practitioner.
- Fish oil
 
Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; nourishes nerves; improves nerve function; helps to gain weight; slows down the progression. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months. Better if used with vitamin E.
- Vitamin E
 
Vitamin E is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; slows down the progression. Take 400-800 IU of vitamin E daily, in divided doses, for many months. Works better with fish oil and flax seed oil.
- Creatine

Creatine reduces muscle weakness and fatigue; maintains and increases muscle strength and slows down the progression. Take 2-6 g of creatine daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Flax seed oil

Flax seed oil nourishes nerves; improves nerve function; helps to gain weight; slows down the progression. Take 10-20 g of flax seed oil daily, in divided doses, for many months. Better if used with vitamin E.
- Green tea

Green tea is an antioxidant; neutralizes free radicals; slows down the progression. Take green tea extract daily, containing 0.5-1.5 g of catechins, in divided doses, for many months.
