Supplements for Oral Use
- Fish oil

Fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids; helps the breakdown of amyloid tissue. Take 6-9 g of fish oil daily, containing 18% EPA and 12% DHA, in divided doses, for many months.
- Myricetin

Myricetin inhibits amyloid formation. Take myricetin daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- OPC's

OPC's inhibit amyloid formation. Take 150-300 mg of OPC's daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Bromelain
Bromelain may help breakdown of amyloid tissue. Take 1-4 g (2,000-8,000 MCU) of bromelain daily, between meals, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Glutathione
Glutathione may help breakdown of amyloid tissue; if used by people on dialysis, may prevent amyloidosis. Take 1.2-1.8 g of glutathione daily, in divided doses, for many months. Better to use N-acetylcysteine, glutamic acid and glycine mixture.
- Quercetin
Quercetin inhibits amyloid formation. Take 1.0-1.5 g of quercetin daily, in divided doses, between meals, for many months.
Supplements for Topical Use
- DMSO

DMSO reduces swellings; softens connective tissue; alleviates symptoms. Apply a topical preparation containing 10% of DMSO 2-3 times daily, for many weeks, as suggested on the label. Use this product under the control of an experienced practitioner.
