- Acetyl carnitine
   
Acetyl carnitine is an acetylcholine precursor; protects neurons from beta-amyloid; improves acetylcholine and cellular energy production, mental function, attention, fatigue and memory. Take 1-3 g of acetyl carnitine daily, in divided doses, for many months. Acetyl carnitine argynate instead of acetyl carnitine with alpha lipoic acid, vitamin C and vitamin E works better.
- Choline alfoscerate
   
Choline alfoscerate is an acetylcholine precursor; improves acetylcholine production; improves mental function; used for treatment. Take 0.8-1.2 g of choline alfoscerate daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Galantamine
   
Galantamine is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor; blocks the breakdown of acetylcholine; improves mental function; slows down the progression. Take 2-18 mg of galantamine each morning and evening, for many months.
- Ginkgo
   
Ginkgo increases circulation of the brain; increases oxygenation of the brain; improves mental function, memory and concentration; slows down the progression. Take 120-240 mg of standardized ginkgo extract daily, containing 24% of flavone glycosides, in divided doses, for many months.

Huperzine A is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor; blocks the breakdown of acetylcholine; improves mental function, memory and concentration. Take 200-600 mcg of Huperzine A daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Vincamine
