- Red raspberry leaves
  
Red raspberry leaves are oxytocic; facilitate labor and childbirth. Take 10-30 g of red raspberry leaves daily, in tea form, in divided doses, beginning at 32-34 weeks of pregnancy. Caution: Do not use it before 32 weeks of pregnancy.
- Beth root
 
Beth root is an oxytocic; facilitates labor and childbirth. Take beth root daily, in divided doses, for many days, as suggested on the label.
- Black cohosh
 
Black cohosh is an oxytocic; facilitates labor and childbirth. Take 80-120 mg of standardized black cohosh extract daily, containing 2.5% of triterpene glycosides, in divided doses, for many months.
- Blue cohosh
 
Blue cohosh is an oxytocic; facilitates labor and childbirth. Take blue cohosh daily, in divided doses, for many weeks, as suggested on the label. Use this product under the control of an experienced practitioner.
- Juniper berry
 
Juniper berry is an oxytocic; facilitates labor and childbirth. Take 1-2 teaspoon (5-10 g) of juniper berries daily, in tea form, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Squaw vine
 
Squaw vine is an oxytocic; facilitates labor and childbirth. Take squaw vine daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Angelica root

Angelica root is an oxytocic; facilitates labor and childbirth. Take angelica root daily, in divided doses, for many weeks, as suggested on the label.
