Supplements for Oral Use
- Mallow
  
Mallow is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Take 6-9 teaspoon of dried mallow flowers and leaves daily, in tea form, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Marshmallow
  
Marshmallow is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Take 4-6 g of marshmallow root daily, in tea or capsule form, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Mullein
  
Mullein is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Take 15-30 g (3-6 teaspoon) of mullein leaves daily, in tea form, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Acacia gum
 
Acacia gum is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Take acacia gum daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Aloe
 
Aloe is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Take 40-80 ml of aloe gel or juice daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Burdock root
 
Burdock root is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Take 3-6 g of dried burdock root daily, in tea or capsule form, in divided doses, for many months.
- Chickweed
 
Chickweed is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Take 6 teaspoon (30 g) of chickweed daily, in tea form, in divided doses, for many months.
Supplements for Topical Use
- Aloe
 
Aloe is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Apply a topical preparation containing minimum 0.5% of aloe 2-4 times daily, for many weeks, as suggested on the label.
- Chickweed
 
Chickweed is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Apply chickweed containing topical preparation 2-4 times daily, for many weeks, as suggested on the label.
- Coltsfoot
 
Coltsfoot is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Apply coltsfoot containing topical preparation 2-5 times daily, for many weeks.
- Comfrey
 
Comfrey is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Apply comfrey topical cream 2-3 times daily, for not more than 4 weeks per year, as suggested on the label.
- Echinacea
 
Echinacea is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Apply echinacea containing topical preparation 2-5 times daily, for many weeks, as suggested on the label.
- Flax seed
 
Flax seed is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Apply flax seed containing topical preparation 2-5 times daily, for many weeks, as suggested on the label.
- GLA
 
GLA is a mucilaginous; soothes and calms inflamed tissue. Apply black currant seed oil or borage oil or evening primrose oil containing topical preparation 2-5 times daily, for many months, as suggested on the label.
