- Alpha lipoic acid
  
Alpha lipoic acid is a hypoglycemic; reduces blood sugar. Take 0.7-1.4 g of alpha lipoic acid daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Bitter melon
  
Bitter melon is a hypoglycemic; reduces blood sugar. Take bitter melon leaf and/or fruit daily, in divided doses, for many months, as suggested on the label.
- Brewer's yeast
  
Brewer's yeast is a hypoglycemic; reduces blood sugar. Take 5-30 g of brewer's yeast daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Chromium
  
Chromium is a hypoglycemic; reduces blood sugar. Take 200-400 mcg of chromium daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Cinnamon
  
Cinnamon is a hypoglycemic; reduces blood sugar. Take 1-4 g of cinnamon daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Crepe myrtle leaves
  
Crepe myrtle leaves are hypoglycemic; reduces blood sugar. Take 30-60 mg of crepe myrtle leaf extract daily, containing 1% corosolic acid, in divided doses, for many months.
- Fenugreek seeds
  
Fenugreek seeds are hypoglycemic; they reduce blood sugar. Take 5-50 g of crushed fenugreek seeds daily, with meals, for many months.
