- Artichoke leaf
  
Artichoke leaf is an appetite enhancer; stimulates appetite. Take 3-12 g of dried artichoke leaf or 1.0-1.5 g standardized artichoke leaf daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Blessed thistle
  
Blessed thistle is an appetite enhancer; stimulates appetite. Take 3-6 g of blessed thistle daily, in tea form, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Gentian
  
Gentian is an appetite enhancer; stimulates appetite. Take 1-4 g of gentian daily, in divided doses, for many weeks.
- Alfalfa
 
Alfalfa is an appetite enhancer; stimulates appetite. Take 0.5-1.0 g of dried alfalfa leaf daily, in divided doses, for many months. If you want to use seeds, use heat treated varieties. Prefer alfalfa supplements that do not contain canavanine.
- Angelica root
 
Angelica root is an appetite enhancer; stimulates appetite. Take angelica root daily, in divided doses, for many weeks, as suggested on the label.
- Brewer's yeast
 
Brewer's yeast is an appetite enhancer; stimulates appetite. Take 5-10 g of brewer's yeast daily, in divided doses, for many months.
- Caraway seeds
 
Caraway seeds are appetite enhancer; they stimulate appetite. Take 1.0-1.5 teaspoon (2-4 g) of caraway seeds daily, in tea form, in divided doses, for many weeks.
